How it Works - Online Catalog

In order to sell through this site, you must have a PayPal account.

Each member is entitled to place ten items in our online catalog.

Payments are made through PayPal, an eBay company used by millions of people every day to purchase items won in auctions, or sold through online stores. Customers can pay by credit card or have the payment deducted directly from their checking account, whichever they prefer. This is an extremely safe and secure way to purchase online.

Paypal charges approximately 3% per transaction (2.9% + 30¢). We charge a 20% commission on items sold through the web site. After PayPal's fees have been deducted, we will send you 80% of the balance through PayPal immediately so you have the cash in hand before you ship your work - no more waiting for checks at the end of the month.

Example: You sell an item for $100 with a $20 shipping charge. PayPal will charge approximately $3.20 for the transaction fee. Your net would be 80% of the $120.00 less $3.20 or $93.44. Our commission would be $23.36.

You will be responsible for shipping the item to the customer and making sure it arrives in tip-top condition. We recommend purchasing insurance and delivery confirmation (which should be included in the shipping charges) to avoid any problems. We also recommend you keep the delivery notification with your receipts for shipping costs.

You must notify us that the item(s) has been shipped and how it shipped (UPS, USPS, Fedex) along with a tracking number so we can then email the customer.

What we need from you:

Digital images of your work no larger than 600x600 pixels. We reserve the right to crop or edit photos to better show the items. You can email the images to us or send them via snail mail on a CD. 

Along with each image, please include as much information as you can: title (if applicable), medium/materials used, size of work, sizes available, color(s), special considerations - anything you can think of. We may not use it all, but we'd like to have it on hand. All prints, photographs and works on paper MUST be matted and backed, preferably with archival acid-free mat board. Framing is not mandatory, but it helps.

You'll also need to figure out shipping charges for each item. Is there special packing that you need to charge extra for?  Don't forget to add insurance and delivery confirmation. Shipping charges must be included in the item's description.    Make sure you don't lose money on the shipping charges.
